How do I come up with a good ending, yet not use something that is overused? For example, at the end of the romance novels, the hero and heroine usually realize they are right for each other and fall madly in love, then ride off into the sunset and live happily ever after. I want to create an ending that will keep the readers guessing the outcome until the last word.
